Stockport County 0 Leicester City 0

Leicester retained the unbeaten start to the season but had to be content with a point at Edgeley Park after a 0-0 draw with Stockport on Saturday. In a match of few real clear cut-chances it was City who looked the most likely winners, but missed chances costs us.
Stockport could've gone ahead but for Paul Henderson, who saved a deflected Carl Baker effort to keep it level. Steve Howard then had our best effort, but he sent a header harmlessly wide. Had it not been for the post, as this saved us from falling behind, Peter Thompson would've given the Hatters the lead.
On-loan Kerrea Gilbert went close with a cross short and only a wonder save from Owain fon Williams in the Hatters goal kept Matty Fryatt's point blank effort out, but it was Lloyd Dyer who was the guilty party in not seeing us gain all three points in the closing moments. With less that ten minutes to go the winger missed a sitter!
Paul Dickov and Michael Morrison also had chances for us, but although Nigel Pearson will be frustrated by some of the missed chances I wouldn't have thought the gaffer will be too disappointed with the point gained at Edgeley Park on Saturday.
