Coventry make the short trip down the M69 hoping to claim their first ever victory at the Walkers Stadium.
The Sky Blues are yet to record a win in 13 visits to Filbert Way, but have drawn on their last three trips.
But standing in their way of a hopeful three points are a Leicester side who have lost just one of their last nine Championship fixtures.
The Foxes went down in Cardiff on Tuesday evening to halt an excellent five-match winning streak, and will be keen to get back to winning ways for the visit of local rivals Coventry.
Aidy Boothroyd's side are enduring a torrid run in the league, however, and have picked up just one win in their last 12 league matches.
Boothroyd has seen his side lose their last four away matches in the league, a stat which does not bode well against a Foxes side who are still yet to lose on home turf under Sven-Goran Eriksson in the Championship.
Leicester have recorded four successive victories at the Walkers, and know another three points is essential to keep their promotion dream alive with a tough trip to QPR next weekend.
The two sides' previous encounter this season ended all square, as Andy King's exquisite equaliser cancelled out a Clive Platt first-half opener.
Leicester manager Sven-Goran Eriksson: "We have to win against Coventry.
"We can't afford to lose too many games if we are talking about promotion one way or the other. I would say that automatic promotion is still possible but we are many points (eight) away from that in the table and we have a lot to make up in 13 games.
"The table was looking better before the Cardiff game and now we must play at our very best as we don't want two defeats in a row either."
Striker Darius Vassell has suffered with illness this week, but should shrug off any problems to make Eriksson's squad.
On loan Chelsea utility man Jeffrey Bruma could continue in his midfield role. 'It is difficult to take him out of the team,' Eriksson revealed.
With the crunch part of the season fast approaching, Leicester need their star Nigerian to produce the goods against the Sky Blues.
Feed him. Watch him score.
Clive Platt, who scored against the Foxes earlier in the season, looks set for a return after missing the midweek defeat to Swansea.
Captain Lee Carsley (achilles and hernia) and defender Ben Turner face late fitness tests.
Almost certain to be the target of abuse when he sets foot on the Walkers pitch tomorrow, King will no doubt use all of his experience to cause the Foxes problems.
Team-mate Carl Baker has labelled him "our Yakubu", insisting he is "a class above the Championship."
- Coventry have picked up just a point from their last five away matches.
- The Sky Blues have also seen the opposition side hit the net first more times than any other side - and have not won on any occasion (14).
- Coventry's record vs the top half sides is also the worst in the division, picking up just one win in 17 matches.
- Leicester head into the game as the division's form team based on their last 8 fixtures, winning 6.
- The Foxes have picked up a smaller ratio of points when winning at half-time only to Nottingham Forest (2.83).
