Mandaric Questioned by Police?

Mandaric Questioned by Police?

5 men have been arrested in connection with alledged corruption in football. Of those 2 are confirmed to be Harry Redknapp and Peter Storrie. Is Milan one of them?

A Portsmouth spokesperson has commented on the arrests saying the men had

'been asked to help police with their inquiries concerning a matter dating back to 2003. This was prior to the new owner taking control of the club at the beginning of 2006,'

Milan Mandaric, currently Leicester City chairman was the previous owner and chairman at Portsmouth in 2003.

City of London police have said that the men were aged 69, 60, 55, 48 and 30.

Milan Mandaric was born September 5, 1938, making him 69 years old.

There is obviously some evidence to suggest that Milan may be one of those being questioned by police but as yet nothing has been confirmed and this is merely speculation.

It would obviously be hugely damaging to Leicester if Mandaric was found to be involved, and would almost certainly damage both the club's reputation and also possible impact heavily on the club's finances which are heavily supported by Milan's involvement at the club.

All speculation at the moment don't forget!
