Leicester holding too many cards

Leicester holding too many cards

Wolverhampton Wanderers won't be the only problem facing Leicester City at the Walkers on Saturday, their disciplinary situation is getting precarious.

Alan Maybury collected his fifth booking at QPR on Tuesday so he will miss one match.

Centre-back Paddy McCarthy has now amassed nine yellow cards and one more anytime soon would cost him a two match suspension.

Then there are Richard Stearman and Nils Eric Johansson who are both just one booking away from missing a game.

The problem is that all four are principally defenders and City have a minimum of cover in that department.

Sheehan or Danny Tiatto might offer some assistance at left-back but the latter is still suffering hamstring trouble so he cannot be a guaranteed starter and there are no obvious replacements in the Reserves just now.

Best behaviour might be a focus of the teamtalk but that won't be easy in an all-Midlands clash which will doubtless get the adrenelin flowing.
