Fans and Megson 'Improvement needed'

Well the dust has settled after another draw in Leicester City's league campaign.

Manager Gary Megson admitted after the game that while there was a lot of effort on display, ultimately a lack of quality is meaning that the team just aren't capable of putting in the performances required to take all three points.

Megson told the official site

'I was pleased with certain aspects of our performance tonight. I thought that we competed terrifically well, but what we were lacking was real quality.'

Leicester fans seemed to agree, with about half saying that much improvement was needed in the side. In our next poll we will be asking whether it is the side that is at fault or whether the tactics of Megson are also at fault as Leicester are still without a league win under the new Foxes manager.

Megson did play up some of the positives from last night particularly the debut of Andy King

'I have only been here a fortnight and I have seen him play a couple of times. I like what I have seen. I thought he did exceptionally well for an 18-year-old playing against that side.'

With the 18 year old lining up alongside Mattock and Stearman it meant the City midfield contained 3 players who had moved up through the ranks at the club.

So the question is how to solve the problem of our poor performances?
