Post-Match Villa, We Won!

So Leicester are through to the 4th round!

A fantastic result from the boys in blue and from manager Gary Megson.

We've done well in the past against Premiership opposition in the cups but our league form has not been anywhere near good enough. Hopefully this time we will be able to build on the result and start getting some points!

The victory will also be welcome for manager Gary Megson, who will have gone a long way towards winning over the fans who were singing for Martin Allen in the earlier round against Forest.

The meeting with Milan regarding that is tonight at The Walkers, this site will report on the goings on for those that can't make it.

Many positives from the game, here are just a few:

Marton Fulop - played really well, there is believed to be a option to make his move permenant for 800k, surely we have to stump up the cash based on his performances at the club so far?

Kenton and Maybury, back in the squad after being exiled by Martin Allen, they may not be good enough to start or even form a promotion chasing squad, but while they are our players we should get the most out of them, nice to see them back.

Fryatt, another player who didn't feature under Martin Allen, rumoured to be leaving in the summer on many occasions and this must have knocked his confidence, nice to see him back with a goal.

Megson, up against it from the start with his Forest background and criticised for his negative play, he will be as pleased as anybody with the win today.

Fans, another great turn out at Villa helped cheer on the team and would have enjoyed seeing City beat MoN's Villa.
