Foxes striker Matty Fryatt reacts to the appointment of Gary Megson and explains why 'new manager syndrome' might benefit the East Midlands club.
'I think all the players at the club are very happy that a manager has come in and we can just start to settle down and get on with the season.
'One of the most disruptive things that happens when you lose a boss is all the speculation that starts. Every day there's somebody new linked with the club and you keep being asked your opinion on things.
'Obviously Gary Megson has the CV. He has taken West Brom into the Premiership twice and has proven that he has what it takes to get a team out of this tough league. This is a boss who has been there, done that and has all the experience in the world.
'There is little doubt that the chairman's number one objective it to get us into the Premiership and that has to be the priority for everyone at the club. That will be what the gaffer is working towards because we all know that is where we should be.'
