'Thumbs Up' for Lennon on web

News of Neil Lennon's interest in the Leicester City managership has been greeted with a massive thumbs up by diehard City fans on the internet.

Many acknowledge there would be a risk, some say a massive risk but few seem to care. Happiness has clearly returned and nowhere is it more pronounced than on the Foxestalk website.

'Polyphonic' is unreserved. I'm 'massively in favour,' he said, 'he'd take no crap'.

'Adam' too echoed the sentiment by adding 'I'm Loving the sound of Lennon. I think the crowds would be back.'

Foxestalk members latterly campaigned hard for Craig Levein's dismissal, even posting a petition calling for change.

Now they wonder if perhaps, just perhaps their days of despair may be over.

Manwell Pablo, a regular poster, wrote: 'Anything that leads to Lennon getting back into the Leicester engine room can't be bad.'

It was a sentiment much expressed. Many would take Lennon back tomorrow, just as a player.

But as a player/manager,legendary poster Babylon said: 'I don't usually let my heart rule my head - but what a dream.'

And Foxestalk Poster of the Year RicFlair was equally excited. 'Same here,' he said. 'I'd like an experienced coach alongside him like Robertson or Walford. But I'd love it.'

Whether more sober judgement will take over as the days go by remains to be seen but that was the instinctive reaction of Leicester City fans. Suddenly their world seemed all smiles again.
