'If It's Football, It's Vital'

One in the Kis-ser

Our team tumbles into the relegation zone. We lose 2-1 in the Surrender at Sheffield. Yet Leicester City midfielder Patrick Kisnorbo reacts by trying to talk his way back into the Australian national team.

I wonder if he'll send them videos of his performance on Saturday, and a few others I could mention.

At a time when you'd think all the City players would be keeping a low profile and focusing on putting things right as quickly as possible, Kisnorbo reveals to Teamtalk.com that he is 'desperate' to play again for Australia.

He last appeared in June 2004 and has been sidelined since following a red card against the Solomon Islands and his withdrawal from the Australian Olympic squad because he 'didn't know what was happening at Hearts at the time'.

Kisnorbo remarked 'It has hurt being ignored, especially not knowing why.'

Has it crossed his mind that it might be because of his indifferent form and the fact that his club team are in the worst League position in their history?
