What Price Stearman Now?
That was what fans around me were asking after last night's dramatic Third Round FA Cup victory over the Premiership's Fourth placed.
Stearman has been one of the few successes of City's season so far but he excelled from first to last yesterday, both in defence and attack.
For me it was by far his best performance to date partly because his concentration never wavered.
Even when Craig Levein was passing instructions from the technical area his eyes never wandered from the play.
What particularly impressed was how often, even in the second half of a fast and tough encounter, he still found the energy to continually join in attacks.
The only trouble from Leicester's point of view, was that a whole nation was watching him.
