The Champions League season continued with the latest round of games played in midweek.

Atletico Madrid saw off the challenge of Leicester on Tuesday to advance into the last four, as did Madrid rivals Real Madrid following an eventual extra time win over Bayern Munich.

Here's a round-up of the Champions League action from the other games, with two ties to be played.

Leicester's interest in the Champions League, indeed that of the Premier League, ended when the Foxes came up short - a 1-1 draw with last season's beaten finalists Atletico Madrid wasn't enough, the Spanish side advanced 2-1 on aggregate.

Cristiano Ronaldo bagged a hat trick to take his Champions League tally to 100 goals - more importantly for Real Madrid this secured a controversial 4-2 win after extra time to see off Bayern Munich 6-3 on aggregate.
