Vital Preview - Leicester v Atletico Madrid

Vital Preview - Leicester v Atletico Madrid

The 2016-17 season continues with the latest round of Champions League games. Among this upcoming schedule is a one for Leicester against Atletico Madrid at the King Power Stadium on Tuesday with it having a 7:45pm kick-off.

Previous results

Juventus 3-0 Barcelona 19:45

Wednesday 12th April 2017 - CHAMPIONS LEAGUE - QUARTER-FINALS
Borussia Dortmund 2-3 Monaco 17:45
Atlético Madrid 1-0 Leicester City 19:45
Bayern Munich 1-2 Real Madrid 19:45

Leicester, beaten just once in the last seven Premier League games, not only have to avoid defeat this evening the Foxes MUST beat Atletico Madrid by two clear goals to ensure a place in the Champions League semi-finals.

An away goal would have made an already difficult task against Atletico - beaten finalists last season, in fact in two of the last three finals - 'easier' but keeping the scoreline at 1-0 in Madrid means Leicester are very much in this tie with Atleti as the Foxes aim for another magical night at the King Power... Sevilla again?

Should we see any other scoreline bar 1-0 to Leicester after 90 minutes this game will not go into extra time and/or penalties.

What will happen in this one though? Cast your vote so we know if you think it'll be all smiles or disappointment come the full time whistle.

It goes without saying the expectation; most definitely the hope at least, will be for a positive result. But will this happen? We'll find out soon enough.

Ahead of the game we're looking for your views on what way you think it will go, which requires you to vote in the latest poll in one of the options you have been given.
