Wednesday 15th March 2017 - CHAMPIONS LEAGUE - ROUND OF 16

Juventus sealed a place in the last eight with a 1-0 win over 10 man Porto. An aggregate 3-0 victory was secured as a result of the win in Turin to keep the Italian champions on course to reclaim Europe's top prize.
A performance the likes of what we saw from Leicester last season to claim the Premier League title was shown as a place in the Champions League quarter-finals were secured. The away goal in Spain was always likely to be crucial with the 2-0 win over 10 man Sevilla on the night seeing the Foxes through 3-2 on aggregate. The Spanish side would have forced extra time but for a late penalty save from Peter Schmeichel.
The job was done for Atletico Madrid in Germany last month with Bayer Leverkusen unable to overturn the first leg deficit against the runners up from two of the past three seasons. A 0-0 draw in Madrid saw Atletico to a 4-2 aggregate victory.
Ligue 1 leaders Monaco stunned Manchester City with a goal 13 minutes from time sealing a 3-1 win in France and knocking out the Premier League side. The goals in Manchester proved crucial as those took Monaco through on away goals after a 5-5 aggregate draw.
