Breaking Point

They may be playing better football, they may be pounding the opposition with more shots than other teams but Leicester fans' patience is now 'close to breaking point'.

That's the warning from Nev Foulger who, writing on the Blue Army website declared: 'The patience, faith and spirit of the fans is now being stretched dangerously close to breaking point.

'You can only ask so much for so long of supporters.
'They need something to cling to, something to keep them going.

'At the moment City are not providing it. They are raising hopes and then, just as quickly dashing them.'

Foulger backs his argument by pointing out that City, with five wins from 23 matches and only 25 points, have six points fewer than at the same, halfway point in the season last year.

His concerns are mirrored in a Foxestalk poll which shows that some Leicester fans are so impatient that they believe Levein should go.

Far more, however, plea for common sense, and for Levein to be given chance to continue his team rebuilding in January and to hopefully turn the improved performances into points.
