Williams Vital for Leicester?

Williams Vital for Leicester?

Leicester have now gone four games unbeaten and picked up ten points from a possible twelve. This up turn in results has also coincided with the return of Gareth Williams to the starting eleven.

Williams has suffered various injuries through the season which has seen him only figure in ten of Leicesters league games. However, from them ten league games Leicester have picked up 17pts and have only lost three.

Although many Leicester fans would argue that Williams offers nothing to them team and is never interested in getting stuck in, the results show that when he plays City seem more likely to pick up points

Williams is the type of player who annoys football fans, he obviously has a lot of talent but he rarely seems to be involved in a game and always seems to be strolling around the middle of the pitch.

However, when City do have Williams in the centre of their midfield, he gives them an attacking edge. Either through a decisive pass or a marauding run forward, Williams links the defence up with the strikers and can add the final touch of class to an attack.

If Leicester want to continue on their current good run then it is important that Williams stays fit and does whatever he does to help City win.
