Investment leading to problems?

From reading the local newspapers and listening to quiet mutterings from within the club the current investment from Milan Mandaric has supposedly distracted both the manager and the players from winning games. The team have failed to win a game in November and although nobody has come out and said it, its suggested by some that the players and manager are worried about their postions at the club.

The ironic thing is that the current form of the players and manager is only piling more pressure on themselves. It would be impossible for Mandaric to start selling off the players or get rid of the manager if the team had continued to pick up points and keep themselves in touch with the Play Off zone.

However, with the team seemingly struggling to pick up any points at the moment there would be no protistation from Leicester fans if Mandaric was to bring in a new manager or sell some players.

In fact certain internet forums will have you believe that the current Leicester performances are due to Rob Kelly losing the backing of the players and therefore they are deliberatly under performing to ensure that once Mandaric has taken over, Kelly is shipped out and a more experienced manager is brought in.

It seems highly unlikely that a team would sacrfice points to try and get rid of the manager, but if this is the case, then players are very naïve. If Kelly did leave the club and a new manager came in, it is more then likely that he would look to build his own squad, which would mean several current players being sold off. So by under performing they are risking their own futures.

The important thing for the players to realise is that whether they are worried about the takeover or trying to get Kelly booted out. They still need to put in 100% and go out to win every game because the strongest factor on whether a player stays at a club or does well at a club are the fans and Leicester fans wont tolerate any more poor performances.
