'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Hectic Days

Although all seems calms when standing outside the Walkers Stadium, inside things are as hectic as ever. With supposedly several parties interested in the club, Leicester fans can be sure that the board are going to look at every possibility before going ahead with anything.

Some fans believe that all the unrest behind the scenes had an effect of the performance against Sheffield Wednesday last Saturday, but this seems to be an easy excuse for a poor performance.

The game against Sheffield Wednesday saw Leicester lose their unbeaten record which had stretched to 8 games. Leicester fans will be hoping that the players do not let the result effect them too much and that the team can put together another good run.

Leicester have consecutive home games against Plymouth (11th November) and Preston (18th November). Both games will prove a tricky task for Leicester as the two teams are both in the top 6 of the Championship.

It is important that the team bounce back from the defeat against Sheffield Wednesday and show the fans that the team attitude has changed from the one that started the season so poorly.

If Leicester can get a string of good results together before Christmas it could lead to what many Leicester fans would consider to be the best possible way to start the new year. Leicester in the top half of the Championship and in touch with the Play offs, with a new investor involved in the club and money available to strengthen the squad during the transfer window.
