QPR Is A Chance To Bounce Back

Spanish U21 international and on loan Arsenal defender Ignasi Miquel has said that Leicester have the perfect opportunity to bounce back from the disappointment against Manchester City in the quarter finals of the League Cup, when we face Queens Park Rangers in our next Championship encounter.

Speaking to lcfc.com following the 3-1 defeat, Miquel admitted that everybody was disappointed to see us bow out of the competition with such a score line but he knows it was an experience to play a team of that calibre and compete as we did for parts of the game, and we can use that experience to aide our league campaign and he knows the QPR match is massive for us.

'If we win we'll bounce back and be up there again. It's been a bad run for us so we want to get back to it on Saturday and win the game.'

Like manager Nigel Pearson alluded to in his after match comments, Miquel agreed that the manner of their goals on the night were frustrating because as a team they could've been defended better, but again that's the difference in quality levels really. We can sometimes get away with moments in games like that, but when you deal with a team like that you will be punished if you aren't tighter and a fraction sharper.

And at least in his mind, he feels we could've done better for all three really, so everyone just has to use it as a learning curve and be better for it in the future because then at least the disappointment wouldn't have been for nothing.
