De Laet Can't Wait For The Season To Start

Ritchie De Laet has said he had plenty of positives from last season, and now he can't wait for the season to start so he can build on them this time round.

Speaking to lcfc.com De Laet said he was delighted to have made 48 appearances last season and he's love to end this campaign with promotion and maybe even hit the 100 mark since joining the club last summer.

'I can't wait. We'll get the friendlies out the way, they're all about fitness, and then it's on to Middlesbrough where we'll get the season started. We'll see if we can get off to a good start, but it'd be great to get the three points and then come back to the King Power Stadium and see what happens against Leeds.'

He adds that with promotion the aim last season, no changes to the team, it's clearly the aim this season and despite the disappointment Leicester suffered, he feels the team will be far better placed to cope with the pressures (and find that consistency!) this time around.
