Morgan & Nugent On First Day Back

Morgan & Nugent On First Day Back

Wes Morgan and David Nugent have both talked about the first day back at training.

Speaking to lcfc.com Morgan said firstly.

'All the lads are flying. It's all about preparing and the work is to get us in match fitness mode. You've got to make sure your body is right to be able to cope with the long season ahead.'

Last season's top scorer Nugent added.

'It's been an eventful day, it was a nice little test run and everyone was enthusiastic. We've all passed the test so hopefully this time next week we can get the balls out and start earlier than usual.'

No doubt the players really enjoyed their time off and the distraction from football given how we ended the season, but you'd imagine they are glad to be back and return with a point to prove following our play off heartbreak.
