It's Only Half Time - Nugent

It's Only Half Time - Nugent

Match winner David Nugent has said Leicester can't get too carried away following our first leg victory over Watford, as it's only half time in the game.

Speaking to lcfc.com following the 1-0 win, our top scorer said.

'It's a massive result ut we know it's only half time. We'll have another tough game on Sunday, but the lads are buzzing and we're looking forward to it. We can't get too carried away, we know it's not over.'

Nugent rightly points out that Watford aren't exactly shy in front of goal themselves and they will have Troy Deeney back for the second leg, so it'll be a good battle for the defence in the next round of the semi final.

'But I'm sure if we go there and perform as we did tonight, we can go there and get a victory.'

The strike was extra special for Nugent as it brought to an end his 16 game barren spell in front of goal, and him returning to goal scoring form could be the exact boost Leicester need to see out the play off charge.
