'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Pearson Ready For Fresh Watford Encounter

Nigel Pearson has said that he doesn't believe Watford's contrasting end of season finish will have any bearing on our two legged play off games.

Whilst Leicester can consider ourselves very lucky to have snuck back in the Play Off spots, Watford lost an automatic spot on the final day, but Pearson told Sky Sports that he didn't believe that Watford would have a disappointment hangover as they head into these games.

'I think Gianfranco will be quite balanced with his views on what happened. Perhaps it is natural that there will be an element of disappointment that they didn't go up automatically, but I don't think they were favourites to do that anyway heading into the final game. They had a really good season and if he needs to pick up his players, I'm sure he'll do that.'

Pearson does concede however that our stroke of luck has been a good grounding for the players to develop some real confidence over and the whole camp are bouncing but extremely focused on the tasks ahead.
