Wood - Time To Step Up

Wood - Time To Step Up

Everybody knows Forest is a huge game for Leicester and Chris Wood has said it's time to stand up and be counted so we ensure the result we want.

Speaking to lcfc.com ahead of the game, Wood explained.

'It's a must win for us. As players we're going out there to get all three points and that's the minimum we need. I think we've just got to stick together as a team and make sure we get the right result through team work and a good performance. Win the game and we've done all we can. It's time for someone to step up and be counted and write their name in the history books.'

Wood said that over the last few games he was pleased to have found the net again after a mini barren spell, but he knows all the players are desperate to reward the faith that Nigel Pearson has placed in them this season and they want to do it for the fans as well who have been phenomenal all season long.

We just have to do all we can and then hope somebody smiles on us.
