We Have To Hold Our Nerve

We Have To Hold Our Nerve

Nigel Pearson has said the squad have to keep their nerve if we hope to get back into the play off places as we have an outside chance of still doing so following the draw against Palace.

Leicester came from behind twice in the game showing great character to take something from it and we are now only one point adrift of Bolton who we really need a favour from even if we get back to winning ways ourselves.

Speaking to lcfc.com Pearson said.

I think at any other time we'd be talking about this as a very good point, but we've got to win our last two games now. It's not games like this that have put us in this situation that we're in, it's the performances against Derby and Barnsley. But, as I've already said, what we have to do is focus on what we can influence. We've gott o make sure we win them both and if we show the sort of qualities that we've shown today then we've got a great chance. We've got to keep our nerve.'

Pearson obviously takes all the positives he can from the game and in some ways he feels we were unlucky as should've defended better for their goals.
