Wood Thanks Fans

Wood Thanks Fans

Chris Wood has thanked the fans for their support in the game against Bolton.

Speaking to lcfc.com after the game, the striker called the fans 'brilliant' and said he like the other players were absolutely delighted to get the three points.

'The fans are brilliant, and they're always brilliant. It's a great tribute to get the win for them. It gives us confidence going into the next game, and if we keep winning then we'll move up places and take points off other team. Three points was the thing we came for and it was a big game against Bolton but the lads showed great character to get the win.'

Next up we obviously Palace, and a win would see us leapfrog them again a place higher and logically make us that touch closer to securing a play off spot.

Wood remains confident we can do that though, as like Pearson, he believes in the last few matches the performances have been there but we've paid the price for both errors at the back and also a failure to be clinical up front, but the confidence is there and will only be boosted by this victory.
