Pearson Delighted With Response
Nigel Pearson has expressed his delight at seeing Leicester get back to winning ways against Blackburn.
A comprehensive 3-0 victory led Pearson to tell lcfc.com.
'For the vast majority of the first half we played really well. The last 25 minutes was up there with with the best football we have played this season. In the second half I think the physical endurance required at Blackpool caused us a problem, but our game management was brilliant. We defended well as a team, moved the ball well, scored three and did our goal difference the world of good.'
Pearson thinks a mini turning point in the game came from Kasper Schmeichel's first half save, even though he really didn't have too much to do in the game overall.
'That was an absolutely fabulous save at an important stage of the game, everybody had to contribute to what was a very important win.'
Hopefully now we can get back to a few back to back wins to make up on a bit of lost ground.
