O'Neill Confident Of Promotion Push
Former manager Martin O'Neill has said the club have the foundations to achieve promotion this season, and he thinks we have a great chance of reaching our stated aim.
Speaking to the Leicester Mercury O'Neill said it would be terrific if Leicester managed to get themselves promoted and he knows we have a good chance of doing so because of the squad we have, the manager and the backing the board have put into the club.
'I know they have everything behind them. We played them in pre season and, while you can't make any great judgements, they looked a strong squad. If they can avoid serious injuries, I know the Championship is a long season, they look like they have the ability and wherewithal to do it. It would be great to see them back.'
