Marshall & Wood Out Of FA Cup Clash

Marshall & Wood Out Of FA Cup Clash

Ben Marshall and Chris Wood will both miss the FA Cup replay against Huddersfield through injury.

Speaking to lcfc.com ahead of the game, Pearson explained.

'Ben has had an x-ray so we've ruled out a break. We'll just have to see how he recovers over the next few days. It was a bit of a concern, he's a it sore and we're not quite sure when he'll be available.'

Marshall sustained the injury in the second half of the game against Peterborough when he had a chance at the far post, whilst taking the shot it appears he struck the players boot rather than the ball.

Zak Whitbread and Sean St.Ledger are also both not expected to return for the game.

As for Chris Wood, Pearson added.

'He has a knock on his knee, it's not something we're too concerned about but he won't be considered for Tuesday.'

Pearson finished by saying that he will make changes for the game, but he'll be making changes that he feels can win us the game.
