Pearson - A Lost Opportunity

Nigel Pearson believes we had enough chances today to take all three points, so he's desperately disappointed that we came away with nothing.

Speaking to lcfc.com following the game, Pearson couldn't make excuses for our winning run coming to an end.

'It's a poor result for us. We had enough chances to win it, we've had 20 attempts today - I'd have been disappointed with a draw, but to lose it, I'm obviously not very happy. It was a missed opportunity for us.'

Pearson added that he was disappointed with our reaction when they got the equaliser, because we let Peterborough start to boss us and we didn't show enough determination, and although he's not happy about that, he admits that's not something he's had to complain about too often.

As for Chris Wood's omission from the squad, Pearson explained that he'd picked up an injury in training, but it's not expected that he will be out for long.
