Nigel Pearson Targets Hard Work Again

Nigel Pearson has said he expects the team to work hard again as we take on Peterborough, we can't slack off, otherwise our recent work could be undone.

Speaking to lcfc.com the gaffer said.

'We're in form and that foundation of hard work is the basis for any team. We will treat it like any other game, we go into it playing pretty well, we just have to make sure that we do what we need to do to win the game. I won't be easy, they're scrapping for points so we've got to be as professional as we can be and look to pick three points up.'

Pearson adds that he knows he can't let the team be content with what we have achieved in the league so far, the time for that is at the end of the season when you have really achieved something, try it early and get cocky and you blow the work that has gone in so far, so he needs to keep them motivated and keep them fighting until the final game, so we get our stated aim of promotion.
