Wood To Fuel Promotion Push

Andy King believes that Chris Wood will be the perfect tonic for us as we push for promotion in the second half of the campaign.

Speaking to lcfc.com following Wood grabbing his third goal in two games against Burton, King said of the new striker.

'You can see he has an eye for goal and has scored early in his first two games. You look at his tally for the season and he is up there with the top scorers in the league and if he can keep that going for us, it will give us a big boost. He links the play very well but also works hard, which everyone at this club does.'
