Transfer Window Rumbles

Quite a few links as you'd expect now the window is open, but it seems quieter than previous years still.

Blackpool boss Michael Appleton has dismissed reports we are signing Alex Baptiste, saying he knows nothing about any deal involving the player.

We are being linked with a move for Millwall's Liam Trotter.

There's a suggestion we are going to try a loan move for Spurs midfielder Yago Falque until the end of the season.

As for players leaving, it's been reported that Nigel Pearson wishes to send Jamie Vardy out on loan for the remainder of the season so he can get more regular football under his belt and Preston and Tranmere are named as being at the front of the queue.

That's about the lot for today.
