Morgan - Cardiff Important For Promotion Push

Wes Morgan has talked about how important three points against Cardiff this weekend could be to our promotion push.

Speaking to lcfc.com ahead of the game, Morgan said three points would be the perfect return for the start of the challenging Xmas fixtures.

'We're all working towards the Cardiff game because we want to get the right result and kick off the Christmas period with a win. It's a big game and in the last couple of games we haven't got the results we wanted, so we'll be looking to put that right on Saturday. The Christmas period is always important and if we can take points from all of the games coming up, starting with Cardiff, then it will set us up well for the New Year.'
