We Need To Be More Ruthless - Pearson

Nigel Pearson has said Leicester have not been ruthless enough following our 2-2 draw against Barnsley today.

Speaking to lcfc.com following the game, Pearson said we had more than enough chances to not only draw level but to also take the full three points.

'We have not been ruthless enough really, we had plenty of chances and haven't played as well as we can do. In a game in which I don't think they were in we have gifted them two goals and had to fight to get anything out of it. We could've had a penalty at the end but I don't blame the officials for us not getting three points today.'

As for their goals, Pearson added about Kasp.

'It was a rare mistake from Kasper but it happens. We have been the architects of our own downfall in the first half. (the second) It was a barnstorming finish and even thoughout the second half they weren't really a threat, and it's probably as dominant as you can be without really winning a game.'

I suppose the highlight is that a bad day at the office, we still clawed back a point so took something from it, but for many it will again raise issues about our consistency of performance.
