Pearson - Pleased With Draw

Pearson - Pleased With Draw

Nigel Pearson has said he was pleased with the point and our performance against Bolton last night, although he's disappointed we didn't snatch the victory.

Speaking to lcfc.com after the game, Pearson said he was pleased to see us return to form after back to back victories and he believes we'd have won the game had it not been for Adam Bogdan's terrific performance in goal for them.

'There were things that went against us, but I thought the performance from the players was fantastic. I'm really pleased for them and with them. That sort of performance is what we've been about this season, we played with an intensity that took us to the top at one stage and will do that again if we play with that sort of drive.'

Whilst he was disappointed to not see us score, he was pleased with the clean sheet, describing the only negatives from the night being the injuries to Konchesky and Keane, which hopefully won't be too bad.
