Waghorn - Criticism Drove Us On
Martyn Waghorn has said the criticism aimed at the club early on in the season drove the team on to prove the doubters wrong.
Speaking to lcfc.com ahead of the Palace game this weekend, Waghorn said of our charge to the top of the table.
'I put it down to team spirit. Anyone that has been around the club will know that we've got a good set of lads here that want to play for each other and bond well together. We all get on great and when you step onto the field you feel like you're together. There have been some tough games, we had some criticism, but we've handled it well and bounced back.'
