Pearson On A Good Nights Work
Nigel Pearson was delighted to see us keep our form going with a 1-0 win over Brighton last night.
Speaking to lcfc.com following the game, he said.
'After the draw against Birmingham it was always going to be important to try to get maximum points tonight. Both our home games this week represent big tests for us - Brighton and Crystal Palace have both had good starts to the season so it's pretty relentless this league, but the players have worked hard which is good for us all.'
Pearson clearly was thankful to Kasper Schmeichel for his penalty save.
'The penalty was very important early int he second half. Kasper made the save and we saw it through. We've worked hard to get to the top and it means a lot to the players.'
