Jamie Vardy To Miss Birmingham Clash

Jamie Vardy To Miss Birmingham Clash

Nigel Pearson has revealed that Jamie Vardy could miss the Birmingham game with illness.

Speaking to lcfc.com Pearson said that Vardy had been absent from training in recent days, so although he won't rule him out completely, it does look unlikely he'll figure.

'Vardy hasn't trained, he's been ill. There's a doubt as to whether he will be involved at the weekend. It's unfortunate, but if he's not available someone else will get an opportunity. We'll see how he is tomorrow.'

Marko Futacs I imagine is looking forward to getting a game and a chance to impress.
