'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Pearson - That Was Merited

Nigel Pearson has admitted that a stroke of luck turned the game for us today, but he feels it was thoroughly merited after our performance.

Speaking to lcfc.com Pearson explained.

'It looked like being another frustrating day, we had numerous chances and spurned them. The players worked very hard and maybe we had the rub of the green, but you have to make it happen. We caused enough problems to have won the game, but in the end it was reliant on a large deflection. I think we'd have taken an ugly win today, and this was better it was a good away win. Three on the trot is pretty good, so we're in a much better position.'

Maybe, just maybe, it's starting to come together?
