King Injury Not As Serious As First Thought

King Injury Not As Serious As First Thought

Nigel Pearson has said that Andy King will be back sooner rather than later, after his hamstring injury was less serious than first feared.

Speaking to lcfc.com after the results of the scans were in, Pearson said.

'The scan results have come back better than we expected so we'll see he is over the next couple of days, but I think we'll have him back sooner rather than later. Matty James did a good job so we have some good cover there, Neil Danns will come into the squad for tomorrow as well.'

You'd imagine that King will be rested regardless for Burnley, and possibly Hull to ensure a full recovery.
