'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Deja Vu For Pearson

Nigel Pearson has again pointed to lapses in concentration in our performance following today's 2-1 loss to Wolves.

Speaking to lcfc.com following the game, there's a real sense of deja vu in Pearson's words as it seems he's saying the same thing every other game.

'It's a recurring theme unfortunately. We've conceded two poor goals from set pieces and it's annoying because that was always going to be one of their main opportunities. Again, second half, we were much better.'

Another game with a tail of two halves, and Pearson is quite open in saying in the first half he didn't believe we worked hard enough when we had the ball, so basically we weren't committed enough again.

'It was a tough afternoon, but the things that displease me are not when players are working exceptionally hard and are not quite on top. The things that let us down today were a lack of concentration and acceptance of responsibility to do a job from defending. It's frustrating, it's recurring - we must put it right.'

Andy King was substituted following a hamstring issue, but the severity of it isn't known yet.
