'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Pearson Praises Professionalism

Nigel Pearson has praised the team's professionalism after our 4-0 thumping of Torquay last night.

Speaking to lcfc.com following the game, Pearson said he was very pleased with a winning start to the season and he was delighted with how the team performed on the night.

'These are always difficult games to negotiate because you're expected to come and win, but it's easier said that done. Ahead of the game on Saturday, it's nice to get this one out of the way. It's an awful long way to come, so you want to head back having won the game in 90 minutes. It was a thoroughly professional performance. We played pretty well throughout, we always looked a threat and the long it went on the more dangerous we looked on the counter attack.'

Bodes well for the league, we've just got to get that consistency sorted and get ourselves on the run we missed last time around.
