Speaking to lcfc.com after the game, Nigel Pearson said.

'We learnt a lot today - it was a bit of a wake up for one or two within the squad so it may turn out to be not a bad thing. I'm not going to try and gloss over that because it was a very lacklustre performance. There's still a long way to go, we were nowhere near the level that we should be.'
