King Glad Of Longer Than Normal Rest

King Glad Of Longer Than Normal Rest

Andy King has said he feels in perfect shape after his extended summer break.

Speaking to lcfc.com the midfielder said the break had certainly done him good, and he couldn't wait to get going again.

'It's felt like a longer than normal summer but it's been good to recharge the batteries and clear the mind. I'm looking forward to starting back again and I think the other lads will be too.'

King also talked about his disappointment last season.

'We were all disappointed not to have mounted a better challenge last year. The break helps you put that behind you. Now we want a good pre season under our belts.'

Certainly going to be a big season for Leicester this year, and again we will be one of the favourites to reach promotion, we just have to start far quicker and be far more consistent this season. The players, and Pearson have had time to settle in and assess things, so our new signings could be very crucial indeed.
