St Ledger In Eire Consolation

Sean St Ledger gave the Republic of Ireland hope last night as he hit their initial equiliser against Croatia...but that was the end of his joy as they went down 3-1 in their opening game.

Speaking to the cameras after the game, St Ledger pulled no punches in how he described their defending on the night, and he, as well as the rest of the team will be looking for a far better team performance next time out, and hopefully put an end to the soft goals they conceded.

Easier said than done when St Ledger will be facing off against Spain in the next game.
