'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Vardy Signs - Official

Leicester City have completed the signing of Jamie Vardy and he's put pen to paper on a deal that will keep him at the club until June 2015.

It's a dramatic move for the former Fleetwood Town player, so it's going to be interesting to see how he finds his feet in the Championship next campaign.

Speaking to lcfc.com about the capture, Nigel Pearson said.

'There were a number of clubs vying to secure Jamie's signature, so it's very pleasing that we have been able to bring him to Leicester. He will definitely help to take us forward. I have no doubt he will successfully make the step up to the Championship.'
