Shakespeare Delighted With Donny Showing

Shakespeare Delighted With Donny Showing

Craig Shakespeare was delighted with todays performance and the three points against Doncaster.

Speaking to lcfc.com after the 4-0 victory, Shakey said.

'We got the first goal, which I felt was very important today, then a slice of good fortune at the start of the second half for the second. We've come away 4-0 winners so we have to be pleased, because it's given us three points we needed.'

Todays three points were certainly needed as we keep our play off hopes alive, and even Shakespeare admits it seems like one week we have a chance, and the next we are out of the race, so have to make sure that we find some consistency and we push on in the next game for a maximum haul.

'We know we're running out of games and we know what we've got to do. It's an old cliche, but it has to be one game at a time.'

The target was six points from our Easter matches and we are halfway there. Do we make or break the season against Ipswich?
