Missed Chances Again Cost Us Points

Missed Chances Again Cost Us Points

Nigel Pearson has again had to concede that our failure to take our chances has cost us yet more points this season.

Speaking to lcfc.com after we lost by a single goal, Pearson knows he can take the positive that it's our first loss in five games, but it's yet another game where our wasted chances have cost us extra points.

'We had enough chances to win any number of games, but we didn't doe nough. It was such a good opportunity for us today and what disappoints me most is the fashion of our defeat. It was another good chance for us and we haven't played. It's a real shame, we're not consistent enough.'

The problems are all there to see, and Pearson clearly knows what they are, the biggest question is can he fix them whilst there's enough time left in the league for us to make a late push?

Maybe, maybe not and only time will tell, but at least with a pre-season behind him and this season of learning about the squad we have, we should be well placed for a proper push without so many hiccups next campaign.
