'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Bamba Happy With Holding Role

Sol Bamba has said he is happy to play the holding role for as long as Nigel Pearson wants him to.

Speaking to lcfc.com the defender said.

'It's a role I've played before, so I know the role. It's just a case of getting used to it again, but I'm sure I can play there. I don't mind that, it's just good to be playing.'

Whilst it's possible that Bamba will occupy the position for a while longer, he's looking forward to our season run in.

'We're not far away and we know we need to win as many games as possible. The important thing is that we don't give up, we just have to win games.'
