'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Promotion Push Going To The Wire

Nigel Pearson is remaining positive following the Forest draw, as he believes the play off battle will go down to the wire.

Speaking to lcfc.com after the game, the manager said.

'We'll keep our focus on the next few games now, because there are teams above us in worse form than us. We've just got to make sure we remain positive about our run in. A lot can happen between now and the end of the season and it will probably go down to the last game, so we need to make sure we're in contention for that.'

As for the game itself, Pearson was pretty pleased with the effort the lads put in, even if it wasn't quite enough to take all three points.

'We tried hard to win the game tonight but we just didn't have that cutting edge. On the positive side, we kept the other end a bit tighter. We're disappointed, but it remains exceptionally tight.'
